Hi team – good to be back this week, although I am behind on some things!

First, I am sure you all know that Megan has up and gotten married on us – to a guy that lives in Virginia!  We’ll have to put out a ‘hook prayer’ and ask God to put a hook in them and bring them back!

So we’ll be a different team from here on out – but God is sovereign, and our team will be as He has designed it!

OK on to music for this week – Here is the list:

•    Treasure is an oldie – we are doing it in the key of E
o    I’ll play acoustic
•    Yes gifted response is new – but it is EASY – please listen to it (it’s one of those songs I told you to start listening to a while back!)  We are doing it in the key of E.
o    We are going to come out of Treasure – sit on Em for a few bars, then I’ll start in on the chorus of gifted response – soft – and build into the song.
o    I will transition to electric

Hi team!!  Hey first I wanted to thank you all for your efforts in practicing for Upper Room.  Even though the attendance was not what I might have hoped, I think our time of prayer was very awesome and sweet.  I believe that the next one I am going to ratchet the worship WAY down – like maybe me on acoustic, and megan doing some acoustic.  Maybe congas.  One day we’ll have hundreds – and we’ll blow it out!

Worship Team Update - Aug 4 2009

Hi team – time for a ‘worship team update!” 

 

First, I have been looking at the rotation, and I am making a small change – Brenda will begin singing with us again (welcome back!), and also Scott Griffis will be starting to sing with us on rotation.  Brenda will be on rotation with Paul & Jeri, and Scott will sing with Melissa and Jeanine.

 

Second, to help us keep track of what is going on, I have put up a “CCW Worship Calendar”, an online calendar that has the musician and singer rotations, as well as practices and special events.
